Sculpting miniature figure - Apache tribe part 4

The kits just luch figure and her motorcycle, So I add some small ornament like some effect and tori robot for diorama

 

 

Tori robot was a digital sculpting and for the smoke is a sculpture from super sculpey polymer clay

 Update progres for my apache sculpting

Bulking the body with clay and take a couple of hours to clay harden than
I can start to carving the proportion of human body. In this step I don't thing about the detail yet,
 just get the proportion and shape right first. Just do a simple shape for his body.

 

After I feel the proportion right I continue to sculpting the shape of the body even further.
for the clothes I'll decide to change a bit from reference pictures which I add pants on him.

in this step I check the sculpt for shape mistake and untidy shape

 

For the ammo belt I use a sprue that I heated with candle and strached to shape the bullet of ammo,
 But I think I'll resculpt again for more detail in this part and maybe
 I'll show you the steps of making in my you tube channel and in this fan page
 and just like the belt The head also will get resculpt again later.
so in this state they will be much resculpt and revision on him before
I continue to sculpt the rest of his clothes and detail.

 

Hi, recently I'm back to sculpting traditional and it,s fun!!, here's was my sculpting progres after years not touch the clay and epoxy again

 

I'm sculpting an Apache poeple dress with US cavalery, below was the reference

I always want to learn drawing or at least sketching before start to sculpting, so this was my first attempt at drawing my project before I start to sculpt. This was RAF pilot in world war 2 era and I make a chibi scale so it will suit for those who make eggplane or toon scale model kit 

 

 

  

This was a 3d printed base from Illustration that I drew above. Next article I’ll do molding him in silicon rubber and start to mass produce in resin and painting him.

 Hi all..it's been two years I don't post anything in my blog, as you can see my latest update is in 2018. sorry for not being update, but for now I'll try my best to update and active again at least once a week to give you any information or update that I working on my hobby lately.

 so in past two years and now almost we go to year 2022 so many happen change in my work even itn hobby or  my profesional job.Beside  of pandemi in 2019 and still going on right now, I no longer do traditional sculpting and tranform to digital sculpt. and I start to buy some 3d printer both DLP resin and FDM. 

 Print one of my sculpt in 1/35 scale as a test print with Anycubic photon DLP resin. the result are amazing and yeah there's still a little tiny print line or island mark in it, but that's ok a little bit of fine sanding should clean it.

for FDM printer I'll use it for bigger model like 1/6 scale figure or maybe I need to do some diorama like building or something that not fit on my anycubic printer since the bed or print size is smaller than My FDM printer.

Hi all...for now on I will sculpting my figure using 3d software and print it with 3D PRINTER for my product in argastatue. this is my first work in 3d. I sculpt the Imperial japanese pilot in world war 2 as a start. that's a lot trial and error that I learn on this project since this is my first in using 3d software and print it.
